Revolutionizing Mind Mapping with Descarte
Descarte by Diego Lattanzio offers an innovative approach to mind mapping that blends visual organization with seamless collaboration, making it a must-have tool for creative thinkers and professionals alike.
Descarte, also known as 150, is an entertaining card game with a simple objective - to be the first to discard all of your cards.
The game begins with each player being dealt five cards, and one card is placed face-up on the table.
During their turn, each player must play a card from their hand that matches either the suit or number of the card on the table.
Before playing their last card, players must declare "Last card" to avoid a penalty of receiving two additional cards.
In Descarte, there are special cards that have unique effects:
- Two (2): Forces the next player to draw two cards unless they can counterplay with another two or a joker. This effect accumulates, so if multiple players consecutively play twos, the number of drawn cards increases accordingly.
- Four (4): Skips the next player's turn.
- Seven (7): Allows the player to take an additional turn.
- Sota (10): Enables the player to change the suit on their turn.
- King (12): Reverses the direction of play.
- Joker: Functions similarly to the two card, but forces the next player to draw five cards instead of two.
The game continues until a player reaches 200 points or more, at which point they are eliminated. The last player remaining is declared the winner.
Points are gained at the end of each hand based on the value of the cards remaining in a player's hand. For example, if a player has a one and a nine remaining at the end of a hand, they add 10 points to their total score.
A two is worth 20 points, and a joker is worth 50 points.
